My place doesn't use biodegradable targets because they kill the plant life over time. Something in the targets changes the pH in the soil.

I contacted white flyer and was given some info on why I can’t find biodegradable labeled clays.
“The Blackouts are the same as the old Bios. Because the requirements for the term biodegradable kept changing it was easier for us just to change the name. But they are made from the same sulfur limestone and natural binder that they’ve always been made from.”
So I think most commonly available white flyers are in fact biodegradable but that info isn’t clearly stated online.Comment
