I got another shotgun Today!

Hey all,

Purchased a 590A1 retrograde today. Have been wanting a pump for a while and I have always loved the look on the retrogrades. Well, one of the LGS had it on sale for $899 and i had to have it.

I already have a 930SPX that I listed in the marketplace. It works like a champ but don't really see a need for 2 shotguns (i barely shot the 930, maybe around 75 rounds total).

So you guys have any upgrade ideas to the 590A1? Any pics of yours?

LOVE my 590A1 Retrograde!

Went into my LGS looking for a vanilla 590A1 with a bead sight (love that bead sight), but fell in love with this beast. Had to have it!



I haven't done any modifications to it - sort of like it how it is. If I did, I'd probably add a shell side saddle and sling. Also, add a bayonet, cuz reasons

The heavy wood furniture makes it pleasant to shoot even heavy loads - including 3" magnum slugs. With that super heavy A1 barrel, you can put anything down the tube with confidence.

Only thing I'd do to upgrade that Retrograde is pop on a Brownells Enhanced Safety Button, a sling, and call it a day.

I am just way to old school!! Give me an Remi 870 hardwood 6,7,8 shot 18 inch barrel, Don't need no red dot or scope for home defense.

Unfortunately the Remington's of today aren't the Remington's of yesteryear. But, if you can snag an old school Wingmaster or Police model, you've got a good piece.

Mossberg is still producing extreme high quality shotguns, however.

Put a light and ammo side saddle on it. I have slings on my shotguns as well.

M9 bayonet is optional zombie skull splitter.

Get a Velcro Side saddle They work best and are $15/
