Blue Monday Skeet League

Skeet shooters in San Jose and surrounding areas, a new Blue Monday Skeet League is starting up next week. The competitive portion of the League runs for 10 weeks, and is bookended by a Reserve night, as well as an Awards dinner for 12 weeks total.

Location: Santa Clara Field Sports Park 9580 Malech Rd, San Jose

League play: Two skeet rounds per league night

Cost: $40.00 to join (funds are primarily used for awards, dinners)

Range fees: $7.00 dollars a round, that’s $2.00 off a regular round price

Teams: Limited to 5 people and can be no less than three.

Time: Range is open at 4:00 pm and last round must start by 7:15 pm as shooting must end by 8:00 pm.

Dates: Reserve Night is July 5th, and competition begins July 12th

Would love to see our past shooters return, and have new shooters join as well. Please note that new county Covid-19 rules require that a mask must be worn within the clubhouse, but are not needed outdoors.

I've shot it for years.

My issue is getting there early enough to shoot.

There are late starting squads comprised of people who have to work for a living, so that might be an option.
