930 SPX stock

Is there an adapter for the 930 so you can put a Magpul shotgun stock on? What other options are out there to replace the pistol grip? I don't like the pistol grip on mine and was wondering if there was anything better than the stock replacement on the Mossberg website.

I don't think so. Only other option is the regular stock or the mesa tactical Urbino which also has a pistol grip. The recoil assembly goes deep into the stock and few companies have made accessories for the 930..

I wonder if the 940 stock will fit. It has an adjustable LOP similar to the Magpul SGA stock by utilizing a spacer. Adjustment ranges from 13"-14.25" LOP.

Yea I see that now after I looked at the schematics on the website. I think I'll just go with the one they have it's like $55 dollars. Not real picky I just don't like the pistol grip on a shotgun.

No it will not fit because of the shorter recoil spring assy needed for the adjustable LOP on the 940.

I have a 930 and 940 but prefer the 930 stock over the 940. I went to swap them out and realized the 940 assy is about an inch shorter than the 930 so they are not interchangeable.

If I can find an extra 930 stock, I'd see about modifying it to use on the 940.

Why?

I have the 930 SPX and also a 26" (or 28", can't remember) ported barrel which I use for [dove] hunting.

Stock and gun, and the two barrels, have been serving me well. I wouldn't consider changing the stock ESPECIALLY when in the original SPX configuring I'm not expecting to shoot more than eight rounds in a "for use" situation.

my SPX came with a rifle stock and i switched it for a mesa tactical pistol grip. i still have the original if you are interested. i'm in SFV.
