I am pretty sure that it is acceptable to have a pistol grip and collapsible stock on a pump. Can anyone confirm? I am under the impression that it is not acceptable on on a semi.

The only requirements on manually operated (bolt-action, lever-action, pump-action) shotguns to be CA legal are:
1. Minimum barrel length of 18".
2. Minimum overall length of 26".
3. Does not have a revolving cylinder.
