JC Higgins model 20 fire control group assembly help

I took it apart for coating purposes only to have it sit at the plating companies shop for 8 months. I have no idea how to put the darn thing back together.

Rest of the shotgun was easy enough to figure out but I don’t seem to figure out the fire control group.

Anyone able to help? Maybe make a YouTube video or some photos?

I have the diagrams but it isn’t all that helpful. My safety detent also appears the be different than the diagram.

Take a look at a similar or identical gun manufactured by High Standard. That worked with my JCH (labeled for Sears Roebuck).

I wish but that video doesn’t do anything with the fire control assembly other than remove it.

It has disassembly and assembly instruction with pictures.

I think I misunderstood, you took the trigger assembly apart, which isn't covered in the manual.
Is that correct?

I took the trigger assembly apart, correct, I see the diagram for the trigger assembly but it’s still difficult to figure it out.
