Are you supposed to shoot it or sleep with it? That thing is gorgeous!Originally posted by superhondaz50I should note, I have a hookup..., just trying to determine the cost to put it in.Originally posted by beerman...He comes out while I'm at work to **** the wife..I shall name him Sancho.Comment

Was the zoli fitted to you?Comment

Not by a professional fitter.
It has an adjustable comb and butt plate. I used a laser sighter to get it close, then small adjustments to try to dial it in. It shoots low for me and I can't raise the comb any higher, it's as high as it will go. Short of a custom stock, I don't think I will ever get it right.
I thought of getting a custom stock done, but the cost and time involved made me decide against it. I think a gun that's closer out of the box is the better way for me. Besides, who doesn't want a new gun

I have always shot Browning shotguns best. I've had 5 different ones over the years.
My first was a Citori 20 ga which gave way to a Real Belgium Superposed 20 ga. Then a 26"12 ga with an English Stock, the My XT which I still have and finally my all time favorite. A Citori Sporting Clays 32" .410.
Your pics don't show up so I can't comment on your gun, like most Browning guns it is probably a pretty good looking gun.. here's both of mine.

So, how do you like the parallel comb on the .410?I have always shot Browning shotguns best. I've had 5 different ones over the years.

The pics worked. Nice looking gun, and the wood is very nice.
Both those guns fit me perfectly as do both my A5's.
Browning guns are designed to fit John Q Public. And size wise I am John Q Public personified so they all fit me perfectly. I can deal with minor changes in LOP just fine without changing the gun.
the XT is my trap gun but it works for Skeet as well. The .410 is really my preferred Skeet gun and I average18-20.
Our club just opened up for more clays shooting this week so I'll be doing more of that now. We are having trap and skeet practice every week now so I might just break into the 20's with the .410. I'd never get there shooting once a month.

Skeet is fun with a .410. I had a Browning Gti 12ga with a tube set. I liked the gun as a 12ga, but with the tubes in it, it moved way to slow for me. I sold it and bought a 725 28ga, it's a fun gun. I would like a .410, but I don't want to get into loading another gauge. The pics worked. Nice looking gun, and the wood is very nice.

I took the 28 out today and shot a difficult Sporting Clays course for a12ga, man, what a humbling experience."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"Comment

I shot the Orange course, hindsight says I should have shot the White course.
The Orange course was rather difficult today, Richard only hit 63, if that tells you anything.
They have me shooting the White course...Scoring is screwed up.
Missed you out there as well, we only had 4 in our squad.
We'll see you in April, I should be shooting a new gun!"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"Comment

Orange course was a difficult course. But I only got pissed at the rabbit station which went down in flames. Should have nailed them. All in all I felt good with my score which should have been worse seeing as my reclaimed shot reloads have a lot to be desired.I shot the Orange course, hindsight says I should have shot the White course.

I thought you did pretty good shooting 28ga., 3/4 oz.Alfred E. Neuman 2024

I was using #8, I think a lot of those targets really required 7.5.
There were a lot of long shots, 50 yards or more...I think.
A bit much for a 28 with #8."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"Comment
