Why not call them? It's new, it's not right. Fix it on their nickel.

Some other guys on arfcom had the same issue. Basically a bad powder coat job. One guy ended up stripping the whole gun of the mess and found really nice parkerizing underneath.

But yeah, I would have them fix it since its a new gun. Tell em to throw in the ghost rings free for your troubles...

Lets say I do send it back and have them Re-Coat the finish, whats to say it wont go bad again in 2 months?
I'm past the point of asking them for help I figure they should have it right from the get go!
Man this bits the big one, maybe I'll just go for a quick spray paint job and forget about it? But then again how will the paint hold up? I've never painted a gun before.

Ghost Rings and keep my finish? it did look kind of cool after the coating came off. Came off so easy that I dont even have a scratch on it. The barrel however seems to be good. But for how long?

I want each of you to think of what you are asking me.
Call them, send it in, get with the manufacture.
I'm sorry but I do work for a manufacture and I also handle customer concerns. I also know some-what about coating. I think they made a big bobo by coating that gun. So I am not going to send it back or call them I am going to deal with it by paint.

So here in about one week I will post the pictures of the gun after its new paint job.

I'm going old School so get ready to roll back to the 50's.
I hope you all enjoy the new paint. Pictures to come soon!
