I have a A-5 in 16 gauge made in 1929 and it had to be converted to 2 3/4 inch from 2 1/2 inch. I changed all of the springs when I bought it. Order them from Art's gunshop the only place to get your A-5 repaired or for spare parts. I shoot it at sporting clays (it has a poly choke) and it works great. The same as a 12 gauge with 1 oz loads. I love it and it is very reliable. Yours is much more modern and should not require a chamber conversion. There is a conversion you can do to make the replace the carrier for a two piece carrier so it can be speed loaded. It is not that easy to do and probably should be done by someone who knows those guns well.

Yup like the others have said shoot it! The value is gone cut barrel and stock. Sweet 16s also have gold trigger its very easy to tell them apart. If it's a 30 have that poly cut off you can have Briley thin walls installed.

Flaming Point: Reloading doesn't SUCK !!! It is a wonderful Hobby that makes it so you can shoot when you want to, and actually afford to do it.

It is also a necessary part of shooting and if you read thru your current NRA mag you'll see that the ammo Mfg's are saying ammo availability is not going to improve until late this year, if then?

If you are even half serious about shooting you need to reload your own ammo.

Everyone else is just faking it.
