Is the X rail gonna be illegal in cali?

I gotta say, it's stupid as hell and completely wonderful. Is this gonna be illegal in some way here? Mounted on a pump gun like an 870? I already confirmed with RCI that the unit will work on the remington pump and semi guns, and the benelli, with other models to come eventually.

    Stupid laws....

I would think anything over 10 rounds would not be legal in California. Looks like a great idea.

      Pump gun.
Out of 12276 and the shotgun defs

      (6) A semiautomatic shotgun that has both of the following: (A) A folding or telescoping stock. (B) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon, thumbhole stock, or vertical handgrip. (7) A semiautomatic shotgun that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine. (8) Any shotgun with a revolving cylinder.
Would this be a revolving cylinder???? kinda not?

That's a brilliant idea. Any idea what the price range is? I didn't see it on the site.

Doesn't matter, it holds more than 10 rounds.

More than 10 is illegal in anything except tube fed rimfire.

Yeah, I forgot that the tube fed magazine thing said .22 caliber. Although it doesn't say rimfire. Someone gonna build a tube fed .22 umm, super magnum? looks just like a .223?

Love the comment about being light weight. EMPTY I'm sure it is, but 23 00 buck shells probably weighs 3+ pounds - all at the end of the shotgun.

Dumb idea IMO - if you need that kind of firepower get a mag fed Saiga.

Yep, that's definitely not legal in California.
