Am considering a leather tool bag. A guy at the range had one for his shotshells and I've been wanting one ever since

was it a leather tool bag that he had his shells in or a 4 box carrier made specifically for shotshells?

Before the gun cart I toted around this. Pretty simple if you carry around one gun and wear a shell pouch.

Just a leather tool bag like in the picture. I think it could hold at least 8 boxes + accessories.

I keep it simple. I usually use a box like that.

As far as the ute's and golf carts are concerned, some people enjoy loading, trailering, and unloading them. I won't get into the one-upmanship when it comes to the golfcarts. At least, not today.

That "Gun Beaver" thing sounds like a "must have" item.

Where can I get one? Randy

There is a big shoot each year called the Big Yak in Yakima Washington. For years they gave away leather bags crafted by the local indian tribe. Nowadays they give away blankets crafted by the tribe.
You could give them a call and get the number for the tribe making those bags. They shoot both ATA and PITA so getting the number should be pretty easy and the bags are top shelf.

Bob Allen makes a cheaper version in different materials that will hold 4-8 boxes of ammo a towel your ear protection shooting glasses water and spare parts for your gun plus your gloves.

gear, food/drink, etc for 2 to 3 shooters...
