Buying a 28ga: Part 2

After jumping thru the Covid hoops, ordering the gun and waiting out the guns jail term, I finally was able to pick up the new 28ga.
For an off the shelf gun, this one is really close to fitting properly. An adjustable comb will allow me to dial it in.







Now I need to get the reloader setup so I can crank out some shells and go have fun.

The other side of the wood is pretty plain and boring.
I have not shot it yet. I was going to setup the 28ga reloader today and crank out some shells. Unfortunately I'm missing a couple parts to connect it to the Automate. I'll have to call MEC on Monday. I'll shoot it soon enough...

I've got about 500 Win AAHS hulls, Claybuster wads, 20/28 powder and a couple hundred pounds of #8 shot.
I still have a flat of factory loads with #9 shot, I'll use those up while I get the loader setup.

We closed down a few days early due to this Covid crap, otherwise I'd be working as well. So now I'm off until Jan 4th...with pay

Yes, 4 people in other buildings. No one in my building, there are 5 of us there in 10k sq ft.

BTW, we all get tested every Monday.

I didn't want to see it. Now I cannot un-see it. Now I have "gun envy" and I hope you posting this pic doesn't cost me money!

Can't go shooting Monday morning. I have to work (a blessing and a curse). I wish people would realize that the world is supposed to be coming to an end and would lighten up on the phone calls and requests.

Free on the weekends though.
