My friend has one he says is "worn out" and wants me to look at. I highly doubt that considering he bought new decades ago and is not by any means an avid shooter. Unless he put thousands of rounds through before we met in the early 1990's it likely hasn't seen much use.

Funny what some people thing "a lot" of shooting is

Is there any common failures or weaknesses to this platform? I've worked on a few Mossberg and Remington pumps and autoloaders but never seen one of these.
