    SxS gun

Anyone use a SxS for shooting stuff? I think I want one just because I don't have one. I like the cowboy gun aspect. If I get a coach gun, it's not much good for shooting things that fly, right?

Dementia Joe says a double barrel shotgun is all you for home defense. Should I get something with long enough barrels for upland birds or just get a coach gun and shoot pumpkins and watermelons?

I am headed to SD this Saturday for 3 days of pheasant hunting with a pair of 12 gauge SxS shotguns.

I have English doubles... no stagecoach guns

A coworker had a cheaper one that was nearly impossible to open. A very very stiff action.

It's different and fun. That's reason enough for me. You can hit birds with short barrels, just not quite as easily

And that's what I'm thinking. I don't have one. I've got pumps, an O/U and a SA shotgun. No SxS... I want something different just for fun.

I have a Norinco coach gun I got on a trade. Nifty little shotgun and feel like Ash in the Evil Dead every time I take it out.

Stoeger 12 gauge Coach gun has improved cylinder/modified chokes, the 12 gauge CAI hammer coach gun has modified/full choke.

If you intend to shoot clay targets, this shoot is the most fun ever! And you get handicap points for a SxS. Just makes sure your gun meets their range rules.
