thoughts on Remington Versa max tactical comp

    Hello

I am looking around at different shotguns and the versa max tactical competition caught my eye . for those of you who own one , is it reliable ? are there any fit and finish issues ? it seems like a good deal but what with remington quality being low as it is due to the bankruptcy I would like to hear from owners of the shot gun before I buy .

It's been ~16 hours since the OP's post went up.
Perhaps, nobody here owns such a shotgun.
This gun's webpage is gone, btw:

Also, there are two assumptions which might be banned if this was "Twitter" regarding "Remington quality being low" and "'it' is due to the bankruptcy".

Even IF quality was low, was it due to the bankruptcy or did Remington go bankrupt due to low quality; or something else entirely when it comes to going bankrupt (debt to earnings ratio; losses vs. profit; etc.).

Remington's quality was just fine prior to shutting down the original shop.

When did we first start timing answers after the original post?

If you read a few posts about Remington, it appears they're out of business at this time.

      This is not Twitter.

      Remington's issues were numerous.

I own the 3gun model and here are 2 cents. The shotgun is reliable and eats anything ive put through it. Since its been my comp gun were talking 5-6k rounds. I did replace the spring in the tube. Its taken the abuse of being thrown around and covered in dirt without any malfunctions.
The fit and finish is OK. Not perfect but ok. It does not shoot slugs accurately and Ive had to use Kentucky windage. Id be reluctant to get a new one since Remington has now gone belly up.
