    Mossberg 590A1 value?

Neighbor has expressed interest in my 590A1. I rarely shoot it and my wife prefers the benelli as well.

Looking to see what current selling value is in this market.

I've checked marketplace, but many of the ones listed that were sold no longer show a price. So I'm asking here.

You could easily get $1000 for it in about 5 minutes at any gun shop. Way more than it's worth but since there aren't any available a motivated buyer will be willing to pay more.

Note: this will all go away tomorrow evening. Nov 3 after 10 PM when Trump is re-elected, and it will be back to $550.

You kinda waited too long to get max bucks for it.

At the very least, it's good to know what the MSRP would be for a 590A1 model closest to yours (the OP). There are quite a few models with varying prices.

I don't believe in price gouging, unlike many others in the marketplace.

I do believe in market value, hence why I asked.

Honestly, I don't need to sell it. The neighbor asked if I had any for sale and I figured I'd look into its value at a minimum.

I'm sure once T is back in office, prices will calm down a bit. Or maybe they won't with the impending riots post election.

They are the same if you think about it,
The definition of the market value: "the Price which a buyer willing to pay and a seller willing to accept...."
Meaning, on a particular day, due to certain circumstances, the market value is such and such....

This is true and I remember it well from Appraising RE, but with that in mind at this time you might be better off keeping that gun because you might just need it to defend your home.

Plenty of time to sell it down the road a few months after everything settles down.

I got one from the used rack at a gun store early in the summer for $379. I got a brand new set of wood furniture from eBay for $75, so now it's just like the Retrograde models on Gunbroker that have bids over $1,000.
              I'd say $500-600 if he's a good friend.
