Benelli M1 Super 90

I have an HK Benelli Super 90 M1 with a 28" choked and 18" barrel as well as the conventional stock and a pistol grip stock. Not the pistol grip stock is a fixed stock with a pistol grip. It is not foldable or collapsible.

I was told that I cannot have the pistol grip stock with the short barrel, but according to the flow chart, it does not have two of the characteristics that make it illegal.

Any comments on it's legality.

Thank you. I was told it was illegal on this site several years ago but it didn't make any sense. I can only assume that they assumed is was a cruiser style grip. I tore some ligaments in my hand and forearm and it's easier to shoot with the pistol grip stock.

As mentioned above, you're good with either as long as the barrel is 18" or longer and the stock is not folding or collapsible.

My HK era M1 was out of the box 18.5 with the pg, surefire, 8 shell extension.
The 14.5" M1 was the only regulated factory model at the time.
Collapsing stock on an inertia shotgun is dumb, pop the buttpad off and take a look inside.
You're supposed to clean the tube occasionally.
You couldn't get under 26" oal if you removed the stock.
