remington 870 barrels

I have a 7 shot 870 with 18'' barrel, and I recently got addicted to trap/skeet shooting. I tried it with the 18'' barrel, but its just too short. So I purchased a NEF single shot 12gauge with 28'' barrel. It gets the job done, but I rather use my 870.

So now I'm looking for barrels on gun broker and they have 870, 870 express, express mag., wingmaster. which one will fit my gun? Thanks in advance

I have an older standard weight 870 Wingmaster that uses barrels with the large tube ring. The common test is if a quarter will slip through the ring the barrel will fit.

The newer light weight (lw) models have a smaller diameter tube. A quarter will not slip through the ring on those. Most of the 870 barrels on GB are lw's.
