I can recommend the Winchester SX2 and SX3, and the Remington 870 SPS line with 3.5 inch chambers.

A hunting buddy uses a Benelli SBE 3.5 inch autoloader and it is a very nice shotgun also.

No one I know uses 3.5 inch shells.

Unless you are routinely hunting large geese I believe you may find little use for 3.5 inch shells, and be less than happy with their price and recoil level.

3 inch steel #2's at 1500 fps+ are more than enough for waterfowl.

If you are going to bother with a 3.5" chambered gun, you may as well go full tilt and get the 10 gauge. Better performance, better pattern, same price of ammo. It's really only for large waterfowl and maybe turkey hunting. I have toyed with the idea of getting one, but at this point, it would only be if I could load for it and use it regularly during hunting season. As it is, I use a 12 gauge with Kent fast steel at 1550 fps in the 3" hull and it has plenty of punch.
