Mossberg 930 jm pro lifter work

Since i have plenty of time on my hands i finally did some work on my jmpro lifter.
Built it up and shaped it so i can load the 2 method without tearing up my thumb. Going to go test it out tomorrow.

Skytac and Miculek also make them, but if yours is as good, you saved yourself some bucks.

I have my 930 only a little while, maybe 2-300 shells through it.
never could justify/understand the need for the lifter mod, not in terms of wasting time nor wasting money. Never had any issues with loading or unloading. I think you guys just like "improve" perfectly good things,

I have a 930 also. Great Defense Tool. I made a couple of small improvements on it that should have been an original part. What is a jm pro lifter?

Do you load 2's and 4's? That's what the lifter mod is for.

Double Loading and Quad Loading. (loading 2 or 4 at a time)

Right, loading under the clock, like in 3 gun. Either with 2 shells at a time, or the same except with 4 shells in your hand.

Yes, because that bastard will pinch the **** out of your thumb when you try to speed load. I wonder if the new 940 JM addressed this (for double the price, I certainly hope so).

I took it out yesterday and put 150 rounds through the jmpro and practiced the load 2 with my lifter mod and it was much better than skinning my thumb everytime. The appliance epoxy i painted the lifter with held up pretty well also

At this time, I have been unable to purchase 12's. I just spoke to my cousin from Washington State and was told that there are NO 12's 9's, all the popular rounds. It would be a Great Idea to ask other State Firearm Web sites what is real. I am not a Conspiracy Guy. Nevertheless, I can not get what I want in New Mexico, and the same goes for Washington State.

Nice, I’m about to take out my Taran Benelli lifter bc I cant bend or reshape it so I don’t get an occasional malf.
Stock one worked fine but it’s shape will skin your thumb and palm deep.
Opening and reshaping the feed port can help the teeth on stock Benelli lifters grab onto barricades and netting.
I’ll find a shop I can rent some time to fill out my stock lifter.

The reason why action shotgun or a game shotgun is going to be modified is bc 1 session in the class you set it up for is 200-300 shells minimum.
If you make your weekend worthwhile, you shoot a second class.
Tube fed shotguns are generally easy to switch barrel, spring, and mag tube for the other class.
There's another 2-300 shells the next day.

Maybe you want to do a bigger event and that's 400-600 shells in a day bc you are allowed in 2 diff squads or classes bc it's a half day constant fire event where you hustle.
Some guys might try the next day and do a 3rd class, call it a 600-900 shell weekend just out of a shotgun.
Man you'll be glad it's mostly bird so you can clean and debug your gear blindfolded.

You'll really care about reliability #1, but not tearing up your hands will be a very close #2.
#2 plays when you run a glock frame with mulitple slides for your classes, and an AR is getting multiple uppers or you think you want to try multiple calibers.

Your hands are busy enough cleaning guns, loading mags, loading shell carriers undamaged much less all sore from shooting and bloody.

That's really a surprise hearing about that on a TT gun. For the amount of money he charges for those things I would expect everything on it to be perfect.

Oops, maybe I misread. You have only a TT lifter, not a whole TT gun?
