    saddle up? or no?

been trying out different stocks on my 590... hogue, speedfeed and now a knoxx folder. love the recoil reduction, love the ability to fold storing easily away but i dislike the wire butt against my shoulder kinda uncomfortable, and dislike that I HAD TO REMOVE MY SIDE SADDLE!!!!

so i butchered a tacstar 4rd saddle i had laying around and attached it to the left side of the receiver a few inches forward. this allows the stock fold and lock into place. how did i do it? VELCRO!!! my question is, is it worth it? i used some super industrial 3m adhesive velcro strips. my concern isnt of it flying off due to recoil... but moisture that may collect on the velcro causing it to rust! right now i have the furry side on the receiver but after thinking about it im going to switch to the hook side. am i worrying to much? ive heard of 3gun shooters using velcro saddles... and just wanted some 2cents from you guys

ohhh and for those interested in a knoxx folder... dont do it! unless you received it as a gift from the misses unexpectedly. SURPISE!!!!!!!
