Finally cleaned my Versamax

I finally tried out the local sporting clays course (Elm Fork Dallas,TX) and it was pouring rain, so I figured I should finally clean my Versamax.
I must say I am impressed, probably had 3000 cheap federal shells through it without a hiccup.
I scraped some nasty stuff from the gas system.
Everyone talks about Beretta and Benelli semi autos, but if your in the market definitely give the Versamax a look.
Reasonably priced, reliable, soft shooting and made in USA.

Versa max "copied" Benelli's gas system supposedly.
Also have heard it works very well, for cheaper.

Thanks for the report. I would get one if I didn't already have an Benelli M4. Would have saved a stack of money....

My buddy bought a Versamax for duck hunting. Great gun, soft shooting and reliable but he had the finish flake off the trigger guard on our 2nd trip and his finish near the gas relief by the hand guard is already worn down. I'm gonna help him get a good cerakote job but for $500 less than the A400 give or take I'd go A400 again all day. To each their own I guess.

I love my Versamax shoot 1-200 cheap shells a week have yet to clean the gas system. **** only cleaning it gets is a wipe down with the chamber open and a couple drops of oil.
I just love this thing it just keeps on going and going.
