    Prado to host Olympics

Per some guys shooting at Prado it is going to host the Olympics. I find that hard to believe, unless a ton of money is put into upgrading the sorry condition of the place.

I couldn't believe the difference shooting Prado last week, following using up my Triple B key card just a few days before.

Nothing has been decided at this point.
The guys at Prado were just shooting the breeze.
It's all speculation at this point.

Regardless of where it's held a ton of money will be spent upgrading the place.

How much did they spend to update the LA Coliseum and build the Prado site for the last LA Olympics? We here in Salt Lake City are getting the next US Winter Olympics again. Improvements, upgrades for sure.
US Olympics are about the only ones that generate a profit.... Being a capitalist nation.

They hosted it there last time. Bob Petersen (Petersen publishing, Petersen auto museum, etc) put a lot of his personal money into upgrading it last time.

I heard Oaktree has pledged 2 million towards upgrades, with L. A. County releasing the half million for maintenance whether they get the Olympics or not. Oaktree wants the Olympics fiercely.
