Mossberg 500A 12ga

I know that this forum on shotgun is a bit slow but I'm trying to figure out which type of Forend Action Tube with Nut for my Mossberg 500 12ga with a port 28" choke barrel. Is it the 6.5 inches or the 7 3/4 tube that will fit directly. I'm sure that it's the 6.5" but I can be wrong.

After measuring three of my 500s, if the inside tube wall measures more than 6.5" on your furniture, then you need a 7 3/4 inch tube. Anything less than 6.5" with your furniture, then a 6.5" tube should work. Which technically is 6 5/8" tube as I don't think they sell a 6.5" tube.
