Hi Calgunners, a friend of mine has a felony record 18+ years ago, he's made a mistake, but he's gotten straight ever since, he's been working hard, paying his taxes, has 2 kids, 14 and 10, owns a business, has a house, he's paid his debt by spent some time in jail but the felony charge prohibits him from buying a hand gun, unless he gets the felony charge expunged( which he did), and get a pardon from the governor by signing a certificate of clearance which he is in the process of doing. My(his) question is, as of right now, with the charge expunged, can he purchase a shot gun or a rifle? thank you for reading and thanks for your help!
