The cheap side saddle I purchased for my Remington finally stripped out for good.
I began looking for a replacement sidesaddle and wanted to go with one that mounted via industrial strength Velcro to the sides of the receiver.
Then it popped into my head, that I should just convert what I have to use industrial strength Velcro.
I picked up some Velco brand (industrial strength) @ Wally world, while shopping for ammo.
In about 15 minutes I was done installing the adhesive backed Velcro to the sidesaddle and receiver.

I put about 150 rounds of heavy field 12 ga & slugs through the shotgun this past weekend (3-gun match and screwing around @ the range) and it held up perfectly. The Velcro is super strong and it barely moves at all. More than strong enough for use in a match. This isn't your run the mill Velcro.
