    Best Pistol Shotgun for Home

I know this has been asked numerous times, but now in Sept 2019, what is the best pistol grip shot gun for home defense and why? So many to choose from, what is best? 12, 10..etc? Brand and Model please. Thanks in advance. Also, what buckshot ammo you use?

Get a 'Raptor Grip' for your Remington 870 or Mossberg 500.

    Best bang for the buck!

Shockwave Raptor Grip 870. Minimizes felt recoil and gives you total control. Fits 12-gauge firearms with 18.5”, 20”, and longer barrels. Veteran designed.

The Shockwave Technologies Raptor Grip helps you gain a great hold on your firearm. Its glass-filled polymer construction is virtually indestructible.

The best pistol grip shotgun for home defense is one that also has a shoulder stock. "Best" in the sense that you might actually be able to hit the bad guy with it. Something like this: https://www.big5sportinggoods.com/st...27/_/A-3691003

My HD shotgun is a Remington 870 20 gauge youth model.
Small, light, quick. I like #4 Buck for HD or Federal Flight Control 00.
Not a fan of pistol grip only shotguns at all.

If you must have a pistol grip, get one with a stock also like Sandhill said IMO.

Why do you want a pistol grip? I have a 870 home defense model 6+1, It's a champ, also not a fan of pistol grips.

Pistol grip only shotguns might be good for robbing liquor stores, but are inaccurate for HD. Have fun hurting your wrist shooting it.

And may I suggest 3" magnum loads? The most expensive ones are obviously the best.

Beretta 1301, and whatever pistol grip stock you like best. I hunt with Beretta, carry a Beretta, HD with a Beretta. Accurate and reliable.
