    Skeet Guns With new info

Started cleaning out the safe. Came across 2 skeet guns I have no use for any more. Win mdl1200 20ga skeet, and a Rem 1100 12ga skeet. Nice wood on the Win probably an 8, and the Rem bout a 6.5 or 7, out of 10. Both shotguns are ribbed, fixed choke, and say "skeet" on the left side of the barrel , not the receiver .
Both have 26" barrels. .Any ideas as to a selling price for these ?Like between $ & $. Appreciate any help. Dont know how to post pic, but can e-mail them. I'm located in Fairfield Ca and I'm sure they have to be PPT'd... Thanks for any help, Bill

A nice 1100 can go for at least $375.00. A nice 1200 20 gauge can go for at least $300.00

These can be shipped. No roster on long guns.

Older skeet guns likely have short barrels. Longer barrels are all the rage. Price difference can be considerable.

Does the Remington say "skeet" on the side of the receiver? Is the barrel a fixed choke (skeet)? Does the barrel have a rib on it?

Dedicated skeet guns aren't as popular these days. An 1100 with a ribbed barrel with removable chokes seem to be the most popular.

A used 1100 in nice condition would probably sell for $500 too $600 give or take a little.
