Maximum shot size

In a mad rush to buy ammo before the deadline, my buddy bought 2 cases of shells for sporting clays. After he got home, he realized he grabbed #6 shot.

I thought i remembered seeing a sign at Triple B's saying the biggest size you can shoot there but I don't remember what it was. Also checked the website with no results.

#6 is way to big??

most likely too big -- most clay ranges only allow 7.5, 8, or 9

Are the shells filled with steel or lead shot? If they are steel, I’ll trade you for lead shells in 7.5, 8, or 9 shot.
