    I Bought A Stevens 320 today

Well in going to Sportsman's Warehouse in Eureka today to buy some lead free hunting ammunition, I saw one on sale new in the box for $209.99 & tax and DROS and decided to buy a Stevens 320 Security pump shotgun in 12 gauge.

What caught my eye was it has sling attachment points, and since I have to use a cane to walk far - it will become my handy dandy go to shotgun for 'things that go bump in the night'/ after I put a light on it when it comes home. Of course the Remington 870s here will go back to being hunting shotguns in the future.

I filled out an 'electronic BATF Form 4473 and CA DOJ DROS' paperwork on a tablet, and got my printed copy. Now the 10 day waiting period is counting down, till I can bring it home and needing to find a place in the safe for it to reside...

Since it came with a new cable lock, no safe affidavit was needed, and I did not have to buy a gun lock either for when it comes home...

I have one of these with the pistol grip attachment. It seems to cycle well and I've never had any grief with it. It's based on a old Winchester design. That's a pretty good price for it.

BP - Maybe after seeing the price for .30-06 Springfield non-lead / 165 grain copper projectile deer hunting ammo at almost $40.00 per box of 20 rounds, made the Stevens model 320 pump 12 gauge shotgun with the synthetic stock and pistol grip seem like a much better deal...

They also had on sale padded slings with quick disconnect swivels, so one of those went on the credit card along with a pile of 9mm FMJ boxes. It was an expensive day at The Sportsman's Warehouse!

Well I did an 11 day waiting period and picked up my Stevens 320 12 gauge shotgun yesterday. I have mounted the sling, and ordered a butt stock lace up ammunition 6 round carrier off of Ebay for it, to work with the sling mount.

I saw that Sportsman's Warehouse had it for sale at $189.99 a week after I had bought it at $209.99 there, so I asked the staff and got it at the sale price with a cash refund for the difference since I had not taken possession of the shotgun from them yet.
