    Master Gunfitter for Shotguns.

I assume the Geniuses on CG can point me to a list of Master Gun fitters for Shotguns. No restriction by area, or even state.

    What say Geniuses?

Here's an article someone wrote about their experience, don't know when it was written.

My experience with Dale was great. He hand fitted my stock using methods he learned as a gunsmith at J. Purdey and Sons. I am fortunate as he is only 45 minutes from me.

What kind of shotgun. What kind of shooting will you be doing.

You can get a basic free gun fitting from either Cory or Pat Moore. They both know what they're doing.

They'll be able to tell you if your gun fits or not. Now if it doesn't fit, that's where you need to find someone to either lengthen or shorten the length of pull, and raise or lower the comb.

Keep in mind you need a good gun mount and stance, before you start thinking about gun fit.

Join us on Friday at Raahauge's. Bill Skinner usually shoots, and he knows what he's doing.

Skeet? When it's windy does your skirt get in the way?

My skeet game has taken a hit since I've been shooting SC. I was at a point where I could close both eyes shooting skeet.

Didn't necessarily mean I would hit them.

I'd suggest to have Richard (Captain Dick) to check your gun-fitting at a SoCal Shotgun/Skeet clinic. Bob Day of R&D Custom Barrel shortened the stock and installed the pad for all my shotguns based on the spec Richard gave me. Bob also does personal gun fittings and point of impact checks at Triple B Clays.
