Tactical Flashlight for a Coach gun?

Hey there guys. I've been looking into buying a Stoeger single trigger coach gun for home defense use. I'm curious if you guys know if anyone makes a forend flashlight for it (or something similar)?

Since I doubt Surefire is going to come out with a 'tactical' SxS forend, your best option would be to D&T a picatinny rail to the underside of the rib or to the forearm. If you can't figure out how to install it, send the barrel ***'y in and we'll take care of it. I think we have some tall rail stock around the shop somewhere.

I'd argue that the best option for a flashlight mounted on a break action shotgun would be to have the bottom of the receiver drilled and tapped or get longer screws (if it uses some) and have a machine shop make an arm to wrap around to the side of the gun.

If you mount it on the barrels it will constantly be moved as you are forced to reload, which can be dangerous as you will almost HAVE to reload at some point (even if just as a precaution after a defensive use). This can disorient you, blind you, show other potential threats where you are, etc.

By keeping the flashlight on the stock portion of the shotgun the light will constantly be pointed relatively forward, even as you break open the action. It will also help illuminate the chambers so you can visually see if there are problems, cases, etc.

That's the way I'd do it at least.
