Do they give you problems out of your gun? If you use it for HD, be sure to take it to the range and test it in your gun if you haven't already, because I'm not so sure I will continue to use it.
I took some of the HD rounds to the range today for the first time since picking up my 870...figured I'd give some feedback (albeit not too detailed) to the others that keep a shotgun for HD, especially since there doesn't seem to be too much feedback on the Nobelsport ammo.
I took some Federal LE low-recoil 9-pellet 00 buck and Nobelsport LE 27-pellet #4 buck. They are both 2 3/4" but the Nobelsport is a bit longer than the Federal in length. One of the first things that came to my mind is that I'm not really a fan of the Nobelsport stuff...kicks pretty hard (somewhat unpleasant for a follow-up shot...) and gave me a FTE, along with a few other shells not ejecting crisply/smoothly; seems like they were close to jamming. I only brought about 15. The spread on the target at 10 yards was fine, however; about a six inch group, give or take...didn't take the target home with me. It just didn't feel "right" though...which, I guess, is a sign not to use it anymore in a weapon you'd trust your life to.
The Federal was great though...I couldn't believe how tight the shots stay. Each shot was a consistent 1.5 inch group at 10 yards, and it ejects/loads so crisp and smooth; the low recoil is fantastic also. Follow-up shots were much easier. I guess I'm another member who finds this shot shell to be great.
