Sorry this is off topic but if I just bought a new car and I found a dent on it.. I would be pi$$ed to no end... Character my arse! it only adds character if it is not mine.
Wish I could help with a fix but all I got is the knowledge of how ticked I would be if I paid for then waited for a new weapon... then I get to bring it home, only to find the crown is dented!!! Good luck.Comment

"Just live with it"?
You know what a ding in the muzzle crown will do to accuracy on a rifle? Well the shot pattern from a shotgun is the accuracy. A ding like that will spread shot all over the place, and will affect the accuracy of a slug too.
Take it back to the shop, they shouldn't have to send the whole gun out, just the barrel. If this was a NIB gun, I would "insist" they replace the barrel.Comment
