About $900 dollars poorer, but whatever I had a ton of overtime this month. Needed to treat myself somehow.

Can you get other barrels? Mine has a muzzle break that I'm not sure I like.

I was also told not to use "light" loads because of the inertia recoil system. Can anyone elaborate on this?

Light loads may not cycle the action.

Roger that on the Light Loads... On my friends M3 it is not a problem because he can pump rounds, but the M1 will struggle on the cycle. Just use regular power loads and you'll be fine; I only feed my M1 with non-Light loads.

I have the same model, I got it on sale at Turners. I am also looking for a replacement barrel, they all run about 350 bucks, but I've been searching the boards pretty regularly for one. Also got an HK 3-point sling and Surefire foregrip light for it.

Agreed, the M1 and M3 don't seem to cycle anything less than 00 Buck on semi-auto.

My M1 tactical won't cycle light loads if I use the pistol grip, but will if I hold it like a regular shotgun. The action moves very slowly though.

Mine will cycle everything including light target loads. Make sure it's lubed properly and shoot it a lot. Mine seemed a little tight when I first got it, but loosened up nicely. I still holds tight patterns.
