I've been thinking about buying a new semi-auto SG for a while and after last weeks election I decided to get serious about it. Problem is- I'm left handed and I want a left side eject SG. Not a lot to pick from. All I'd be using it for is informal clay shooting with friends maybe half-a-dozen times a year when time allows.
If money was no object I'd go for the LH Beretta A400. Way out of my budget. Then I saw the Tristar Viper G2 LH made in Turkey. I know Turkish made SGs have had mixed results but from what I've been reading thing seem to be getting better with them. Tristar is an American Co that imports these guns and they seem to have a good rep for CS. So far I can't find any LGS that have one in stock to look at. This SG has a 5 year warranty.
I did a search here and there's not a lot of threads on the G2 recently besides people trying to sell them (that's a bit worrisome).
Anyone have any experience with the G2? Mainly I'm interested in if they are built to last and how Tristar's CS was if/when you needed them. Thanks!
