I continued but dropped one at 32. High house 2.

Dropped High 2 in round 1 and Low 6 in round 3. There's a 50 in there, but it don't count LOL

That's awesome regardless. But I feel the frustration with that too. When I missed high 2 after the straight, I knew immediately my concentration went down. I lost energy. Next time.

That is the difficulty, Skeet is a mental game, you must keep your head in the game or it falls apart. No one shot is hard, but stringing them together is.
It's 90% mental, 10% skill.

Here's my thoughts on that...
Forget about the lead your brain will figure that out just fine.
Learn to read the target, that's the key to most of them...

Where do you really see it clearly?
Where do you want to break it? (Before or after a transition point)
Does that put your gun in a good position for the second target?

There's a lot to think about before you step into the box, watching targets before your time up is important. If you can watch them from launch all the way to the ground you will have a real good idea of what they are really doing.

You'll get it, you are a good natural shooter... It just takes time.


PS: The scores are up from the Bonanza shoot, 140 shooters, and I didn't see your name on the list. There were only 3 people in the 90's...tough course.
