Cheddite primers

Went out today and had a good deal of fun, but I did have an issue.
For the second time in two outings I had a primer failure. I had a good hit on it, but it failed to ignite.



Has anyone else seen this with Cheddite primers?

Not yet. I have gone through my 1st 1000 with no issues yet. I bought another 2000 and just started, but I shot factory today at MNM.

What gun? How many rounds through it?

I load and shoot cheddite primers with no issues in two different shotguns.

Usually from my pistol reloading, a light strike would indicate a high primer or a firing pin spring issue, but that looks like a solid primer strike

Zoli Kronos Extra.
Primer seating depth looks good, just like all the others.
The strike looks like all the others as well.
This is the second one in the last 200 loads.

Being British yet unable to leak oil or short out, it's the best they could do.

I use cheddite in all 3 gauges, never had an issue, have loaded thousands of rounds over the years, good to go and cheaper too!!

It's just a bit concerning, I've had the same failure two outings in a row.
