The cheap parts come from Mexico.

Or a Browning BPS. The BPS is a beautiful sporting/field gun.

I havee fired a friends Supernova many times and it is a very underwhelming shotgun for the steep price tag. Very plasticky feeling and strange contours, I prefer classic cleaner lines of the 500/870 series.

If you want a security pump there's no debate Mossberg 590A1 or go home.

A nova is around $400.00 or less when on sale. Big 5 has a tactical on clearance. $369.96

I've got a Maverick 88, I've only put maybe 200 rounds through it but it works just fine.
Nothing fancy, it just goes "Bang"

They go on sale every once and awhile at that price. Especially during the holiday season which is almost upon us.

No.

I think it was sometime between last November and March that BPS had the 300 on sale for $530. Since they get so much hype here on Calguns, I went in to check one out. My impression was the fit and finish weren't that great and I've never been a fan of the controls on most Euro shotguns.

I'm much more a fan of the manual of arms of American shotguns, so I passed on the deal.

Come to think of it, it might have been on sale for $599, but there was also some sort of extra 10% off deal that made it $530. I remember some other places had it for the same price. They might have been online outfits like Buds or Kentucky Gun Co.
