    Remington 1100 Values

Looking for values on a collection of Remington 1100 shotguns for a friend who wants to sell them.

I'm told they are in great shape. Would it be best to sell individually or as a collection?

I think the serial number indicates they date from 1968 but I'm not sure.

Be great to find a buyer for the set. I would try that first.

Are the .410 and 28g a matched set? If so those are worth a little more.

Cam you post some pictures? Vented barrels with removable chokes are worth more.

If you are selling here on CG, offer to sell them individually and as a set and see what happens.

Search Gunbroker for actual sales (which may or may not be successful) to try and get an idea of what they are worth.

Based on the estimated date code of 1968 they are probably fixed chokes.

I recently sold a pair of skeet grade 1100's, a .410 and a 28, for $850 each. They were high gloss finish, in excellent shape, and fixed skeet chokes. The .410 had a counterbalance weight on the fore end to make it weigh, balance, and swing the same as the 28.

Coincidentally, the guy that bought them was trying to complete the set.... he already had the 12 and 20. So, selling as a set might be the way to go as it seems there might be a market for that.
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!
