410 lee Enfield

So a few months back i got a converted to 410 lee Enfield, i know it was because of the fixed sight and wood plug in the mag well. It was in horrible condition, missing a few parts the stock was absolutely destroyed so i have slowly been fixing it and finally i was able to try to fire it. I went with a 2 1/2 shell but it didnt fit so now i have the problem of i need to track down the british 410 musket ball rounds, fire some of them, then i can have a custom die made. I know these non conveted to American 410 are rarer but this just got more expensive.

Ps does anyone have any of the british Indian 410 rounds they would be willing to sell

Go on over to Castboolits. Some of the folks over there shoot these and they can tell you about loading for them.

I don't understand why not chamber ream (and here I am, a collector). First of all, it's Indian, second, it's a smoothbore conversion. It's worth virtually nothing and if you can never shoot it, it's worth even less.

Try Rocky Mountain Cartridge. They have some custom loaded obsolete stuff, and I think they still turn custom brass shells.
