Triple B Clays yesterday, it was great !!

I decided to take the day off from being retired, and shot a round of sc at Triple B Clays (off the 60 at Rosemead, just west of the 605).

We shot the back half of the course, it was still set up from last weekend's tournament. I enjoyed it. Nothing over the top, just targets that made you think.

Afterwards I had an Italian sausage sandwich in their restaurant. They're really doing a good job both inside and outside the club house.

If you're in the Los Angeles area, and want to shoot a round, send me a telex and I'll be happy to meet up with you.

    Triple B Clays
831 Rosemead Blvd, South El Monte, CA 91733

Might have to contact you one day. I've been wanting to get into clays and buy a good o/u. Looking to buy once cry once kinda thing. I've been eyeing the benelli 828u just because i trust the brand. not that many videos on youtube for reviews on the 828u that i've found. also every time i come close to having enough money in the range for a good o/u something comes up and knocks my o/u savings down.

i've gone with some friends during the week, but it's been a while. we've used a rem 870 pump with a longer barrel, not sure what size. Another buddy i got to use his beretta o/u, i think but not sure what model.

i know i want to get into clays. i think when i have time i just have to rent and try them out.

My experience is that if you can't find too much information on something, it's not too popular of a xxxxxxxxx for a reason.

FWIW. I own an 828 and shoot it often. I also own a Citori. The 828 is really light and feels great to me. The Wednesday and Friday guys I shoot with really like it also, but one mentioned it kicks a little harder then he likes. Other than that it shoots very well IMO.
