The Original Wadknocker Highly Recommended (American Handmade Awesomeness)

Coach Richard (Caption Dick) told us about this magic bar every time at the SoCal Skeet Class. I was increasingly curious about that thing, and finally saw it at the last Sansei Skeet. Many people have it, and I learned it is called 'wad knocker'.

I, for some reason, believed I must have it in order to improve my score, and I got mine from wadknocker.com.

I buy pretty much everything at amazon if they sell it, and sure enough I found similar ones at similar price at amazon, Midway, or other online stores. However, this wad knocker is ONE OF DA KIND.

My Deluxe Wadknocker was handmade by Mr. Mark Amann of Round Lake, Illinois, a disabled Vietnam Era Air Force Veteran. Mr. Amman stated in his letter enclosed in the shipping package that he made it by himself with his metal lathe and drill press, then he polished it to a nice satin sheen. He also noted that his Wadknocker will develop a nice patina that brass naturally gets with age.

My attached picture would not represent well enough for the quality of Mr. Amann's work, but I'd highly recommend the Deluxe Wadknocker from wadknocker.com.

Wow, keep in mind I have never seen this particular wad-knocker...
But since I started reloading, I decided I needed one...So I made my own.

    What are the chances

PS: I had it on my shot key ring at the clinic last Saturday.

It's easy when you have the right tools....

            Full disclosure:
It's not mine, It's company owned. But, since I run the building it's in I can use it during non-work hours. Since I have keys and alarm codes for all the company buildings I have access to a full machine shop and more measuring tools than most people have ever seen. As long as my work is done on time I can have some good play time

Even older trick is to take a piece of solid brass rod, cut to pocket length, radius the ends, polish it a little, done. I still carry the one I made in 1965, can't seem to wear it out.

You better "run a building" where some good bank is located, they have much more attractive items to "share"

BTW, i never had a wad stuck in the bbl, i even cannot imagine how it can happen. But you have much better experience then i with my 30,000 rounds only, but ones i had dirt stuck in the bbl, i cut a new shell, poured out the shot and powder, loaded the shell in to the gun and pulled the trigger. The primer charge was enough to clean everything. Maybe i was lucky

                    ...
