Anyone have a Kolar?

I was looking at them a long time ago and for some reason I found myself looking at them again. I don't know anyone with one so I'm wondering if any of you guys have good/bad experiences with one to share.

I don't have one but it is the most popular higher end gun in the club where wife and I shoot. Never heard anything bad from the owners.

I have a Kolar Max T/A combo. It is one of the few Max T/A combo's I've seen with a top-single (or over-single, as they call them) barrel. Most people seem to like the "under-single" option with the tall rib. I prefer a short rib, and follow the barrel to the target.
Otherwise this shotgun is probably the best gun I've shot (and I've owned Browning, Ljutic and Perazzi). The fit and finish is superb, and for me, it fits me and swings to the target smooth and effortlessly (even though it is a heavy-ish gun) and the trigger breaks like a small glass rod with no creep. I've heard the customer service is good, but I've never had need of them.

Nice to hear that they're popular in parts and that @tallengnr1 has one and you like it a lot. I remember looking at them a long time ago at PSA. They used to have a lot but it doesn't look like they have so much of them anymore. I hear that kolar doesn't make all that many too.

I need to find a shop out here in LA that has some to check out. I remember handling a Max lite Sporting with the adjustable rib and it was real nice.

@tallengnr1 How long have you had yours? How is it mechanically holding up compared to your others?

I think I've had it six years now. I bought it second-hand, but I could not tell that it had ever been shot before, it was so clean and untouched. I bought it from a dealer who had it as a trade-in. All my guns have held up well, and maybe I have been lucky in that regard. I probably would still be shooting the Ljutic if I had not run across this Kolar and it fit me so well (and I had wanted one for a long time).
