    SRM Arms Model 1216 Shotgun

i know we'll never have it in cali but a man can dream can't he?

SRM Arms have developed a semi-automatic shotgun that has a 16 round detachable rotating magazine that takes 2 3/4 or 3″ shells. The overall length is 34″ with 18″ barrel. The NFA version has 12 or 9 inch barrel with a magazine capacity of 12 or 8 rounds.

Wouldn't someone just need to come up with a 10rd mag tube and a lock for it right? Or am I wrong?

            Zombie Thread:

After looking into this; the 16 round magazine is really just four, 4 round magazines linked at a rotary hub. A manual lever must be opened and the hub rotated by hand to advance.

What makes this any different than the dual, tri, or quad magazine adapters for the 10/22? Each magazine is within the legal limit and a two separate manual actions are required to load the next magazine.

If correct this would not violate the high capacity laws, or does this fall under the shotgun revolving cylinder: PC 12276.1(a) section 8?
