    Toggle-lock pump action shotgun?

Has anyone ever seen or heard of one? I'm fascinated by the concept, even if by chance it has yet to be implemented.

There is a reason why you don't see toggle locks made today. They are complex to manufacture and Dont function as well as simpler systems. Some early machine guns and the p08 used toggle locks for a while successfully, but as soon as people found a easier way of cycling the action, the toggles were replaced. As far as sporting arms go, toggle locks were DOA.

Are you talking about a gun that can switch from semi-auto to manually operated? I've been thinking about a blow-back / bolt action hybrid action recently... Or are you talking about a four wheel drive row boat? Because pump action is not semi-auto and toggle locking is for semi-auto guns.

I think I'm saying the wrong things and using incorrect terms to try to explain.

What I had in mind is a pump shotgun with a reciprocating barrel, which manually actuates the action. Anyone know of a shotgun similar?

You mean like a pump version of a Browning A5?

I have never heard of such a thing and it seems like more trouble than its worth on a manually operated gun.

GM6 Lynx still brings a smile to my face though.
