Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith to service and do minor work on an old browning Superposed?

Shotgun is from the 30s and in decent shape.

I've used Bob Day with good results in the past.

Bob Day is real good, my go-to guy. If you don't want to travel, try Lazlo Lukacs, 760-231-9358. I have not used him, but another gunsmith buddy used to send his difficult jobs to Lazlo. Good reputation.

Haven't personally used Duncan's seems OK but I've seen bad reports too. I've been happy with Elite in Laguna Niguel for most types of gunsmithing. Bob Day good for shotguns but even farther for you and pricier than Elite. I do not like Bolsas work, avoid them.

The only thing I’ve heard about Bolsa, is that they are incredibly slow.

I had my 20 rebuilt by a gun in Monterey Park. He replaced spring and transfer bar and some other internals 250 bucks. The second barrel would not cock after firing first barrel. Good work. I will try and find his name.
