Hey guys, where are my Benelli pros at? I run a Benelli M4 at work, which I personally own. I've got the usual bells and whistles and the shotgun is an ultra-reliable work horse. It is fast, accurate, and has never had a single jam with any type of ammo. However, I recently decided to try out the TTI extended lifter to get rid of that awful "Benelli bite" from the stock pronged lifter. However, after having my department armorer install the part, he took it back off because slugs were no longer feeding into chamber reliably. After further review, it seems the lifter was not centering the rounds, as it is flat at the end (instead of rounded like normal lifters) and was causing the rounds to jam high center. Have any of you guys ever experienced something like this before? If so, what was your fix? Anyone know of an extended lifter that has a rounded lip so as to feed the rounds centered into the chamber? I know thousands of people all over the nation run extended lifters in their Benellis reliably in competition, so I'm not sure why mine seems to have problems with that. The stock lifter is back in the gun and all is right again. Thanks in advance for the help.

Benelli M4 Lifter?
Tags: None -
Hi Eric,
Herre is a link to a Forum focased on Benelli Shotguns and the M4. HERE
I have the TTI lifter on my M4 with 100% reliability. A search on the Benelli forum shouuld yeild some insight and help.
One other fantastic upgrade is the A & S triggerguard. HERE installing one may solve your issue as well as improve loading function dramatically.
Take care,
