First time at Escondido Fish and Game Trap Night

So this last weekend, went to the Skeet Clinic at Triple Bs and learned a lot. I decided I wanted to put some of what I learned into practice, but there is no skeet in San Diego. The closest to me is trap at Escondido Fish and Game Association.

So Last night my wife and I show up not knowing what to expect. Luckily I ran into a very nice friendly EFGA member named Chris that helped get us signed in and out on the line.

Everyone was very nice and we had a great time. I will be going back in a couple weeks when I have more time. Chris told me to spread the word, you don't have to be a member for their trap nights. Just be safe and have a good time.

Last time I checked (a few years ago) it was 1.5 to 2 years. Also needed to have a sponsor, so make friends with someone at the trap night and trick them into sponsoring you

I have a few friends that are members there. I've only ever shot on the pistol range & rifle range there. I've been thinking of going trap night. I'd be down to check it out. P2k does 5 stand and so does lemon Grove gun club; both open to nonmembers. I'd be down for a fun shoot sometime.
