    Shooting Glasses

Looking to invest in a nicer pair of shooting glasses. Whats everybody using for clays ?

Pillas are pretty pricey but Randolph and Decot have also caught my interest.

    Opinions ?

You can't go wrong with any that you mentioned, yes, the Pillas are expensive.
I use Randolph Ranger Classic, and am very happy with them.
Contact Dave, TrapperJohn, he's a dealer.

Ztek -quality cheap option that comes in every shade/ color and it doesn’t hurt if they get scratched $5-$15

My wife and I have been using prescription Decots for years now and are very satisfied.
Much less expensive than the others.

Buy the highest quality you can possibly get.

I since I am apparently a cheap bastard - I just use a pair of Wiley X Valors that I bought on sale @ Amazon as a 3 lens set... like them so much that I bought a second pair as a pair to match up with a set of yellow Revant lenses... yes I would love to have a pair of pillas but I just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on something I am ultimately going to scratch and break

I now have Decot Hyw-Wyds and used to have the Rangers that took the insert that held prescription frames. I got rid of them for two reasons. The frames of the insert sometimes blocked my vision and they were just too heavy. Part of the weight was due to my need for thicker lenses. A guy I shoot with now has the Decot's that are more wrap around than mine and he likes them. I think what you get turns to an extent on if you have a prescription or are buying planos.

TrapperJohn made my yellow tint shooting glasses, a wraparound version that works very well for me. Not only does he own and operate an optics lab, but he is a clays shooter as well. You can find him at most SoCal skeet clinics helping out with gunfit, mount, and eye placement. I highly recommend his work.
